Which camera can be used to identify components as small as 1mm in size? I need a camera that can identify the hotspot on the individual component, not a giant square around the component which might give a false reading.

How well a thermal camera visualizes details at a given distance depends on its D:S ratio. D:S ratio is the quotient of the distance     between the camera and the object over the diameter of an area one pixel of the camera covers. In this case, if the user is observing a component as small as 1mm in size from a 10cm distance, he would need a camera with a minimum D:S ratio of 100. All of the FOTRIC handheld cameras has a higher D:S ratio than that. Please refer to this document (click HERE) for detailed information about your camera's D:S ratio.
